about
Hello! I'm Aziz Habib, a senior Biology pre-medical student at the Lebanese American University (LAU). I am passionate about teaching science in a clear, structured, and student-centered way. I am highly flexible in my teaching approach, adapting my style to each student’s capacity, learning pace, and academic goals. I also prepare tailored exercises for the courses I tutor to reinforce understanding and improve problem-solving skills. Having excelled academically and worked closely with students from different backgrounds, I aim to help learners truly understand concepts rather than rely on memorization, and to build confidence in challenging courses.
experience
I have experience tutoring both university-organized tutoring sessions and private one-on-one sessions. I collaborated with the LAU Tutoring Center and was recommended by faculty members to lead tutoring sessions based on my academic performance. Some of these university-organized sessions reached more than 60 students at a time. I have supported students across different academic levels in the following courses: Organic Chemistry I Organic Chemistry II General Chemistry (General Principles) Classical Physics Modern Physics I achieved grades of approximately 100 in these courses, allowing me to tutor them with strong conceptual understanding. My tutoring focuses on simplifying complex topics, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping students develop effective study strategies.
