about
I am a senior Mechanical Engineering student at the Lebanese American University expected to graduate in June 2026. I have a strong academic background and a deep interest in control systems, robotics, and intelligent engineering. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy breaking down complex engineering concepts into clear, structured explanations that students can easily understand. I value patience, clarity, and adaptability in my teaching approach, and I aim to help students not only succeed academically but also build long-term confidence in their problem-solving abilities.
experience
I currently work as an academic tutor at the Lebanese American University (LAU) since 2023, where I support undergraduate engineering students in 3 courses: Control Systems, Dynamics, and Material Properties & Processes. In this role, I assist students in understanding theoretical concepts, solving complex problems, and preparing for exams and assignments, while adapting my explanations to different learning styles.
In parallel, I work as a freelance tutor since 2023, providing academic support in a broader range of Mechanical Engineering (MEE) courses, including Fluid Mechanics, Kinematics of Machines, Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials, and Mechanical Engineering Design... and many others. Through this experience, I have developed the ability to explain both foundational and advanced engineering topics clearly, reinforce analytical thinking, and help students build strong problem-solving skills across multiple mechanical engineering disciplines. I have helped more than 20 students in various MEE courses where more than 80% are still tutored for more than 2 years continuously.
background
I am currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Lebanese American University (LAU), where I am an Honors Program student with a CGPA of 3.96/4.00 and consistent placement on the Dean’s High Distinction List. My academic training emphasizes control systems, robotics, and applied engineering, and is complemented by research projects (journal paper published), technical coursework, and hands-on academic and industrial experiences (MEA, Dar al Handasah, Mercedes Benz,...).
