Hi, my name is Marita. I’m a psychology graduate from LAU. I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology alongside a full pre-med program to pursue a medical career, and I’m currently a medical student at the University of Nicosia Medical School. I’m passionate about teaching my two favorite subjects, Psychology and Biology.

Being a Doctor in Pharmacy and having made many medical rotations in different local hospitals and military medical facilities, in addition to non-profit dispensaries I have enriched and strengthened my interpersonal communication skills as well as building a whole pyramid of teamwork capabilities in multi-cultural environments. Regarding to the latest development in pharmaceutical development and technology as well as teaching experience worked at LAU and other teaching centers for where I had the opportunity to teach medical students while also focusing on biology and pharmaceutical courses. Additionally, I had the privilege of being a sponsor for extracurricular or volunteer work. Being updated on daily basis the different medical and drugs news on many sites as well as installing and updating on my pocket pc the latest drug software, as well as attending and participating in most of the conferences organized by the Lebanese pharmacists syndicate and my own university. My teaching experience allow me to focus on building strong, empathetic relationships with students while fostering an engaging, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Essential traits include patience, adaptability, clear communication, and a passion for lifelong learning as well as setting high expectations, encourage, and respect every student, creating a safe space for growth.

I am a Biology Premed major with a strong academic background in Biology and Chemistry, specializing in Organic Chemistry I and upper-level biology courses. I tutor Organic Chemistry I, BIO201, BIO202, and BIO321 with a focus on deep conceptual understanding rather than memorization. My approach is structured and exam-oriented. I help students break down complex mechanisms, pathways, and biological systems into clear logical steps. I emphasize problem-solving skills, exam strategy, and understanding patterns in questions so students can approach assessments confidently. I aim to make difficult material feel manageable and structured. My goal is not just to help students pass, but to help them understand the “why” behind every concept.
